There are a few exceptions to the rule. I'm also like a few space sims(freelancer, starlancer, tachyon and freespace), redalert-II & tactical ops(offline version).

Flight Simulators! I've always wanted to try one, but haven't got my hands on a good one yet. Which one's your favourite AG?

My most favs are Flanker 2.5 & Lockon. Both are the same except lockon features a few more planes and the graphics is close to realism. I also like F-22 ADF and TAW.

Most people don't try flight sims because there is nothing in there except flying.. I mean no plot, no characters, no music. They are just bland games for majority of gamers. In addition to that flight sims are not something you just pick up in a few hours and play. The learning time is immense(although novalogic breaks this rule). If you are new to sims then I recommend the "Easy sims" which I listed first, especially the novalogic ones. And BTW, who are you?

im into games, yes. but im kinda retro. partly from the reason that i've got a typewriter for a PC and that im just not THAT into this nextgen thing. mind you im a SONY-FAN-BOY.
i like classic retro RPGs like Chrono Trigger and Seiken Densetsu(very underrated yet awesome game).
i like side scrollers(castlevania, abuse, sonic) and a few fighters too (king of fighters, guilty gear, garou:mark of the wolves, samurai showdown, last blade)

i think i've played tachyon and freespace.
descend-freespace. long time ago. had a lot of fun with those missiles with camera on them.
if you're that into flying things, try Tom Clancy's HAWX. pretty cool game though it made no sense to me the coolest thing about it is that in the loading screen, there's logos of aircraft manufacturers. i've seen the same thing with cars in racing sims but this is WICKED!
oh and Homeworld is pretty cool,... or so i've been told.

@Wolf: Tachyon is a cool game. Played both the Bora and Glaspan versions. Played freespace only for a few missions 'cause the pirated cd I bought was corrupted. Still a fav game. But the game which I've spent close to a thousand hours playing is Freelancer. I'm not kidding, I spent a LOT of time playing that. Totally kickass game, and my most fav of them all.

Knew about Hawx, couldn't play it because of requirements. I heard it's not as difficult as flanker 2.5 & lockon.

I also had a PS1 when it first came out. i used to LOVE playing Tekken 3 and Marvel Vs. Capcom on it.

Favourite Game = Well I'm mostly a FPS and Arcade guy but I also play Warcraft and I played the earlier AoE's. FPS-> Call of Duty 4 and Counter-Strike. I love CS!

Ooh and Racing! I play the best racing game on Earth, NFS II SE ! When you play it, you'll shit brix!

Oh and Prince of Persia too. And Assasins Creed. It didn't work on my computer but then I went to a cybercafe and played it. I planned on staying for one hour, I stayed for three.

Yeah.. was planing to get into the Airforce until I started wearing glasses. Now I just visit Airshows and occasionally play hardcore sims to quench my thirst. Went to bangalore in feb.. 3 months back to attend the Airshow there.

Nope. Fifa 09 is better. There was a time when PES was better than FIFA. But that's changed now.

NFS , but only a few, like: NFS 2, NFS Underground, NFS underground 2

Underground is the best though.

Not into sports games much.
