I liked Oceans 11 as well, but it's 100% character driven. If it wasn't For George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Andy Garcia, it just wouldn't be fun...

Oh yeah... What he said.. Oceans 11 was made by the characters... and the chemistry carried over to Oceans 12 as well... but perhaps less so in Oceans 13... the scenes where Clooney and Pitt are just alone together and talking could fool you into believing that they're lifelong pals... Shame that Bernie Mac is no more... he was an awesome character as well... all round excellent acting and a tight script...

Movies I have seen recently and liked a lot...

Public Enemies: You can almost never go wrong with Depp... but this one was a bit disappointing in the fact that it is not as action packed as I was led to believe by the trailers....

Moon: Awesome movie... Sam Rockwell once again proves why he is one of the best... think 'I am Legend' except the dude is on the moon... and... well anything more and I give away the plot...

Hum Tum - because it has cartoon in it and is funny.
Home Alone series - because it is damn funny.
Titanic(^^") - because ..well y'know..
The sixth sense - a really unique and interesting movie.
One missed call - creepy. weird. freaky.
The exorcist - same reason as above.

other favs-lotr series especially return of the king,the green mile,stand by me,little manhattan,rudy,the rookie,indiana jones series(not the 4th one),the dark knight,batman begins(as good as dark knight),the ring,pet semetary,the exorcist,into the wild,saw,the 40 year old virgin,eurotrip,the girl next door,harry potter series,superbad,the pursuit of happiness,the greatest game ever played,crank,we are marshall,the last kiss,love actually,dawn of the dead(2004),the shining,the mighty ducks series,sixth sense,good morning vietnam,the good the bad and the ugly,the godfather,good will hunting,the bourne series,hitman,invincible,there will be blood etc etc etc...you can add atleat 1000 more movies to this list phew!!!tired now!!

Good Morning Vietnam... now that was one helluva awesome movie... I didnt EVER find Robin Williams more hilarious.... even Mrs Doubtfire wasnt as good....

Anyway as far as my favorite movies are concerned...there are too many to mention.
And I have weird choices too.I end up liking movies that the majority would tend to throw rotten tomatoes at.

For example I totally liked A Walk To Remember-it made me cry buckets.Mandy Moore sucked as Jamie but I loved the movie anyway.Maybe it was cuz I had read the book before.For people who hated the movie try watching it once more after reading the book.I'm sure you'll feel different.

Scent of a Woman-if you wanna see Al Pacino in a non-gangster avatar and act brilliantly too(well he always does)..this is your pick.
Amelie-beautiful movie....for people who haven't watched it yet,you donno what you're missing out on.

You've Got Mail- the best-est rom com ever made(according to me)

Proof of Life fell a little flat for me... and while I love Nicholson and Freeman... Bucket List didnt satisfy me....

Scent of a Woman was awesome!! I totally loved the scene where he is driving around in that car (Ferrari was it?)...

People will hate me for this... but I have never actually seen the entire Titanic movie in one go... but I can safely say that I have seen all the bits and pieces...

Stepmom was okayish... I guess it was not a 'guy' movie... but the performances were good...

If you liked Million Dollar Baby... you should try Gran Torino... Another Eastwood flick... I really liked it...
