Alternative title:
戦う司書 The Book of Bantorra (Japanese)
Genres: action, fantasy
Plot Summary: In a world where dead people turn into books and are stored in the Bantorra Library where anyone who reads a book can learn their past. Bantorra Library is maintained by Armed Librarians who wield psychic powers and their enemy is a religious society known as Sindeki Kyoudan.
Number of episodes: 27

If you're looking for a LOT of action then give this one a miss. It's mostly story oriented, sad to the core and confusing at every step. You have the Acting Director of Bantorra - Hamyuts Meseta. Who can't think of anything else except carnage, bloodshed. You have human yet not human called 'Meats.' They have no emotions, come with a bomb embedded in their chests that explode when they get excited or they can do it by themselves by piercing their chests and setting it off. And then you have Sindeki Kyoudan aka Church of Drowning in God's Grace who always try to use these meats to kill Hamyuts since she's the strongest Armed Librarian. She uses a sling with small rocks making up for ammo and voila, projectile weapon. She can use the rocks to kill people close by with her bare hands. Kinda like the elder Toguro brother who uses his spirit power to shoot bullet-type energy balls. Every character has a special power though I wish the fights were a bit longer.

- Spoiler:
- In every arc, one or more characters end up dying in what seems to be a pointless death. Though at the end a grand truth is revealed. Which comes as a shocker to everyone except a select few who already know and are guarding the secret.
