Plot: Craft Lawrence, a 25 year old peddler travelling from town to town
selling and buying various things to make a living during a period much
like Europe in the Middle Ages. One night when stopped at the town of
Pasroe, he finds in his wagon a 250 year old pagan wolf deity girl
named Horo. She appears to be that of a 15 year old girl, except for a
wolf tail and ears. She introduces herself as the town's goddess of
harvest who has kept it blessed with good harvests of wheat for many
years. Despite having the responsibility to watch over the town, she
wants to go back to her homeland in the north called Yoitsu.

Another recently watched series.It is a little different from your regular drama or comedy anime fare.
You might find it a bit slow initially but 2 or 3 episodes into it and you'll find yourself getting used to Horo's flirtatiousness and playful sarcasm.
The second season's still lying unwatched on my HD.

Yes! A series with some brains + ecchi moments. What could a guy like me ask for more? Plus Horo is hawt! All hail the wolf Goddess!!

Ahem... putting my personal fantasies aside..you really have to understands the basics of economics/trading/export-import/inflation-deflation to grasp some of the finer points in the series. Al though the fan subs do a good job with translation and side notes from time to time (keep a watch out for those. The really help).But all in all,a romantic comedy with a twist and some supernatural elements.

P.S: Ah..Horo's tail looks so silky and smooth. I wanna caress it too! >.< Damn Lawrence that bastard.....I know economics too!!

Somehow I don't consider it to be a romantic comedy... I mean Horo and Lawrence are always flirting and stuff.. but the show is mostly about their journey and adventures.
However it appears they are slowly getting more involved with each other.
The side-notes do help.I was especially confused with the currency thing.....so many different coins @_@

Horo is playing with Lawrence's heart... she needs to be more clear... I mean... he has clearly fallen for her.... (VERY evident in S2)....

Personally I am afraid Lawrence is a.... the politically correct term is homosexual I believe... I mean... sleeping in the same room as Horo chan and still managing to resist that highly potent and dangerous sex appeal cocktail of Hawtness + Cuteness + Tsundere-'ness'....
