Toradora

Plot:Toradora!'s story begins with the male protagonist Ryuuji Takasu who is
frustrated at trying to look his best as he enters his second year of
high school. Despite his gentle personality, he has a natural
outer-appearance which makes him look like an intimidating delinquent
so he is utterly hopeless about his chances of getting a girlfriend
anytime soon, and does not have many close friends either. After being
greeted by his hungover mother in the morning, Ryuuji goes to school
and is happy to find that he gets to be in the same class as his best
friend Y?suke Kitamura and crush Minori Kushieda. However, it is then
that he unexpectedly knocks into "the school's most dangerous animal of
the highest risk level" — Taiga Aisaka — who just happens to also be in
his class.



A show I finished watching right before my exams started.Initially I thought it was gonna be another one of those wacky type comedies with some romance thrown in between but I was proven wrong.
Toradora! not only makes the viewers laugh but also gives us an insight into the lives of a bunch of teenagers,each of whom are faced with the prospect of dealing with their personal demons.
However the story focuses on Ryuuji and Taiga who fall for each other unknowingly.

Yesh! Toradora!! One of the more enjoyable rom coms to come out recently. I specially liked the ghost story scene and that scene where taiga is carried on his back (damn...must ..not...give ..spoilers). But yeah..a very interesting and lively bunch of characters with complex love interests and conflicting emotions.

P.S: Beware of the parrot! It's evil I tell ya...EVIL!!

I dunno... I thought it was okay.... not really great... but better than the usual fare you get these days I suppose... I guess I overloaded on this series when I watched it all in a marathon run... kinda grated on me towards the end...
