Kyo wrote:I would get the client just to chat with you!! I make sense too (from time to time)!! Couldnt be a rocket scientist otherwise...
This was a long time ago (Aubin was around), in the informal Animax India chat room. You were there too, and the last I remember you were drooling over girls with whips - two girls at a time. (I have a terrific memory for inconsequentialities, so don't bother to dispute that.) I tremble to think of your 'sensible' rockets.

You have not seen 'Ithil at the Age of Two' in that old photo thread? I'd thought the whole world has.
Arr0w wrote:Either that or he's an incredible liar.
I think I'm a pretty bad liar, unless I work hard on it beforehand. I watch single-digit numbers of movies a year and hardly any TV; that probably has something to do with my not recognising Fox. I was about to say I don't read the entertainment column, but I realised I do, only the names and faces don't stick in my head. (Unless it's Madonna or Michael Jackson - someone at that level.)

I
saw that! May the ghosts of sabertooths rend your flesh from your bones while you scream in endless pain. P.S. Could you resize your signature? It would be much easier to appreciate it if I could see the whole thing without scrolling, plus I have a slow-loading connection here. P.P.S.
Now I see the Sakura wand! Pwetty. (That's not you in the costume, is it? I disown you if it is, ugly thing.)
@ Mayflower: Thanks for the detailed analysis. It's extremely interesting!
MayFlower wrote:maybe ithil isn't that much of a Transformers fan.
Complete ignoramus here. I know it's a franchise with at least two movies, and it's based on something or the other, but that's about it.
MayFlower wrote:Finally I meet up with one guy who's not obsessed with doe-eyed scantily clad brainless bimbo-types.
For the record, I'm not obsessed with scantily clad brainless handsome hunk types either. ^_^
MayFlower wrote:the way he responds to women...it's different from the way he interacts with guys. He has always been very courteous with me and also superbly friendly.
I think that's got more to do with the other person's approach than with any man/woman difference. If people are polite to me, I'm generally polite to them in return. (Which is a compliment to you, Mayflower. ^_^) In real life, there are women around whom I'm incredibly rude, and some around whom I'm as formal as possible. And men to whom I'm courteous too.
MayFlower wrote:age could well be between 24 to 30 or maybe even over 40.
o_O I did mention back when I joined that I was between 25 and 40. (This was around 2.5 years ago, to help you all do the maths.) Sorry if this shatters your fantasies, Kyo.
Kyo wrote:the chicks always dig older men.
And the dudes always dig mature women, looks like. ^_^ Thanks for the 'company and comments' statement, though it's somewhat embarrassing....
MayFlower wrote:he says 'it's not like I don't use shampoo or anything'.
We need to settle this shampoo question once and for all! What I have right now is Garnier Ultra Doux Olive Oil & Lemon (with matching conditioner), and I really like its fresh, lemony fragrance. (I hope that's not straight from an ad.) Make of that what you will!
By the way, Mayflower, you're very naive if you think men aren't interested in cosmetics, clothes, accessories, shopping or gossip. Traditionally considered 'girly stuff' - what a myth. I know men who are obsessed with those, and women who couldn't care less.

To be more detailed,he's about 5 foot 6,dark skinned, slim, straight haired, black eyed, keeps a mustache and beard and has glasses. Whoa whoa whoa. You could at least give spaces after your commas, that made me breathless just reading it. Responding randomly, I can't think of anyone with less of a social life than me, I can work hard but entropy makes me tend to laziness (I'm very respectful of entropy), I'm not a total klutz, my hair tangles and sticks out at odd angles if I don't keep strict control over it (i.e., it's not straight), I've already said I wear glasses (and I got my eyes tested too - yay! - by a very nice cousin, luckily, because if I'd gone to anyone else and told them exactly how long it was since I'd gone to an ophthalmologist - I don't remember, it's too long back, I think it's five years since I got my present glasses made, and that time I'd just had computerised testing done at the shop - they'd have put my eyes out on principle). Ah, sorry for wandering. I like red best (but I don't go around in red shirts), my favourite food is anything mild with mushrooms in it (since chocolate doesn't count as 'food'), I do drink herbal tea but my favourite's a toss-up between cold peach tea and cold soy milk (mango flavoured), 'reading dictionaries' is almost on target (though I'd say 'browsing' - it's not as planned as 'reading'), and it's certainly fun pulling DH's leg.
Was that too much information all at the same time? By the way, just because I didn't mention everything that DH did doesn't mean all the rest of it's right. Or wrong.

Transformers. That was an easy one.
@ Yuki: Nice to meet you too! Yours is probably the only sensible comment on this page. ^_^
