a really good movie and the casting is good too!
its ken watanabe the dude who acted as ras al ghul in begins and also the samurai in last samurai!

The island of Iwo Jima stands between the American military force and the home islands of Japan. Therefore the Imperial Japanese Army is desperate to prevent it from falling into American hands and providing a launching point for an invasion of Japan. General Tadamichi Kuribayashi[Ken Watanabe] is given command of the forces on the island and sets out to prepare for the imminent attack. General Kuribayashi, however, does not favor the rigid traditional approach recommended by his subordinates, and resentment and resistance fester among his staff. In the lower echelons, a young soldier, Saigo, a poor baker in civilian life, strives with his friends to survive the harsh regime of the Japanese army itself, all the while knowing that a fierce battle looms. When the American invasion begins, both Kuribayashi and Saigo find strength, honor, courage, and horrors beyond imagination.

ps:its an oscar winner

This isn't a Japanese movie, its an American production. Its set in WWII Japan and its in Japanese. (Just like how Slumdog Millionaire was a British movie inspite of having Indian actors)

Btw, I thought the movie was excellent! For once, I loved listening to the Japanese language (sometimes watching subbed anime irritates because of Japanese)

And dude, the person who acted as Ra's Al Ghul was Liam Neeson, not Ken Watanabe (Ken was acting as Ra's in the first half though)

He acted as Ra's Al Ghul's decoy! To confuse Bruce Wayne.
