ThunderCats
I won't say much. After spending like two whole weeks watching this baby, I felt liberated when it ended.
Strictly speaking, this series is only for people who don't care about fillers. Its actually funny so to speak because I found a teeny weeny error in this series
Pssst.., I forgot how to put spoiler tags @>@ I don't see the button anymore
Edit: Googled for it.
One of the most amusing aspects of this cartoon is how Lion-O frequently attempts to retrieve his sword during a fight when it falls off. Jaga reminds him often that he can never lose the sword and that the sword will come to him when he calls for it. Yet he prefers going after it manually instead of using the homing device on the sword . All in all a very interesting series spanning 130 episodes (including the specials with 5 episodes each)

- Spoiler:
- For starters,
Those who have already watched the series know that the Sword of Omens can warn Lion-O of danger well in advance. Actually its the Eye of Thundera embedded in the sword's hilt. It also has the power to see through disguises.
=> There happens to be one episode where Mumm-Ra disguises himself as a diamond-fly(lmao. Its a tiny fairy with a diamond on her head) Anyway, the Sword of Omens warns Lion-O about it but he is already mesmerized by the fairy so he doesn't care. But in future episodes the sword fails to do so on numerous occasions. Heck! If it worked once then why doesn't it work again.

Re: ThunderCats
I totally used to be nuts about this show!
It used to come on Doordarshan.
Hm... the good old days.
Though ThunderCats came first, I found SilverHawks VERY SIMILAR to it (I know who ripped off the other). The latter used to come on Doordarshan too but not for more than a month or so. For some weird reason they pulled SilverHawks off air. And I was totally starting to like that show coz there was this guy who had this mean AXE (electric guitar) and spaceships and... I don't remember much after that =D
ThunderCats is quality television for the carefree 8 to 12 year olds who don't have much homework/lab assignments/board exam pressure on them. I miss school!
130 Epidoes?
Amp, the only reason why I'm NOT WATCHING it is because it's like insanely huge!
Yes, for me; Insanely Huge = More Than 60 Episodes
Maybe I'll save ThunderCats to later.
(I'm sorry Chetara we'll have to do this some other day )
Damn, Amp! You should've had like tons of free time on you to have watched this!
Red- Complete Douchebag!

Re: ThunderCats
Ooooooh! Thundercats! There used to be another Anime on Doordarshan they took off air without completing it. Something with Mummies (all bandaged head to toe) in them and they turn temporarily into stronger Mummies when they say a few words - even the Cat (like, you know, all muscled and big).*googles*
As for Thundercats, I liked the Panther Guy and the Female character. Lion-O was next in line and the tiger came last.
It was fun in way - the typical Mumm-ra getting powerful - beats down the Thundercats - Lion-O does that shout with which all the Thundercats get more powerful - beats shit out of Mumm-ra...and then Mumm-ra still doesn't die - goes back to his Tomb - plans next futile attack.
Bad guys never die...odd. >_>

Re: ThunderCats
Lol Ace.
- Spoiler:
- Actually Mumm-ra's pyramid is destroyed by the Thunder Cats in one episode before they leave to settle on the New Thundera. But that act kinda makes the evil priests so angry that they bring the temple back. And in one episode Mumm-ra is actually stripped off his powers and bound in a transparent square prison. Much like the ones the prisoners of Krypton were encased in before Superman's saving act cracks the square. Anyway in the very next episode he is brought back because Le Evil priests can't find anyone evil enough. I've never even seen them try:P
