Reaper is a American comedy-drama created by Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas.
The series focuses on Sam Oliver, a Reaper who works for the Devil by retrieving souls that have escaped from Hell.

On Sam's 21st birthday, his parents behaved very strangely, and Sam himself saw hellish visions and experienced odd events. His father eventually claims that many years ago, he was very sick, and in return for restoring his health, he and his wife promised their firstborn child to the Devil (Ray Wise). Although the couple intended to cheat the Devil by having no children, this plan went awry when Satan convinced their doctor to lie and tell the couple that they could not conceive in exchange for wiping his gambling debts clean. Sam was born shortly thereafter.

After informing him of his fate, the Devil explains to Sam that he must serve as his bounty hunter (or "Reaper"), tracking down souls that have escaped from Hell and sending them back using his new powers (which include telekinesis) and vessels, varied objects said to have been hand-made in the bowels of perdition by the iniquitous and the vile. Vessels appear inside a long wooden box sent for Sam to open (with the Italian inscription "Lasciate ogni speranza, voi ch'entrate" ("Abandon hope, all ye who enter here")

Seen a few episodes of this show. It comes on Sunday and Monday nights on Star World. It's pretty damn funny, especially the devil, who's the most hilarious evil character I've seen.

Anyone else heard of it?

i saw one episode and i was like... I WANT MORE! don't get me wrong but i was shouting like a 12 year old girl. it's been quite some time since a show had kept me entertained like this one. and yeah i liked the devil in this. the guy is funny as hell... literally.
*sigh* it makes me wanna watch Scrubs again.
then again i got to watch one episode of SUPERNATURAL too and i kinda liked it. it's more occult and less funny but it works.

i really don't get it with the one episode thing. is life mocking me? <mods; delete from here onwards> is she tying me to the chair of misery and slapping her cold tits of agony on my face while i scream, "No more!!" and she's like "You like that? You like that, baby...Want some more..?"
