I'm sure this splendid author of thrillers needs no introduction.
A successful lawyer himself Grisham has mostly penned legal thrillers with a substantial political background.

His numerous works include A Time To Kill,The Firm,The Client,The Pelican Brief,The Rainmaker,The Runway Jury all of which have been made into major Hollywood movies.

The Broker got me hooked to Grisham..and The Pelican Brief turned me into his ardent fan.
Anyone else like him?

Yup... hooked on to 'The Rainmaker' right now. He truly writes amazing legal fiction.
Other options for legal fiction would be Philip Friedman. His books include 'Reasonable Doubt', 'Inadmissible evidence' etc. But for starters and people from the non legal background, John Grisham is the man!!

Ah Philip Friedman!I've heard of him of course.But for the moment I'm hooked to Grisham.
I'm reading The Testament at the moment and it includes elements of an adventure novel along with legal suspence and drama.Brilliant and captivating! Smile
