Pluto follows the Europol robot detective Gesicht (German for face) in his attempts to solve the case of a string of robot and human deaths. The case becomes more puzzling when evidence suggest a robot is responsible for the murders, the first one in eight years. The series recently ended after its 65th chapter.

Numerous references to other characters in Osamu Tezuka's Star System appear, such as Black Jack, Robita, as well as several Astro Boy characters who appear in chief supporting roles.

Still reading initial chapters. So no comments.

Dude?! I loved this one... Urusawa meets Tezuka... what more could you ask for?? The theme is superb and the story is very well executed... perhaps a bit convoluted as it winds down though... myself I think I have a few chapters to go which is why I havent given it a final score anywhere else either... but its shaping up to be a solid 8/10 as of now...

Somehow, Tezuka's Astroboy put Arr0w totally off. >_> He doesn't like it. (Totally prejudiced guy!)

Many of Tezuka's works have been best sellers and are known quite popularly, that's what got me interested in this. I'll give Mangatraders credit for bringing it as their Weekly Pick of the Week due to which I got a glimpse of it. Frankly, I think MT does a Lottery pick, just pick any random Manga, and put it up as pick of the week. >_>

@Ace- The rounded art style puts me off. Wayy off. Don' point fingers at my prejudices, Ace, you make plenty of decisions based on art style too.

But I read some part of this one. What put me off in this case is that the scanalators had a png format unsupported by Cdisplay.

What's wrong with your cdisplay? Mine worked fine with Pluto!

I just opened the file normaly and read it.

>_> I was pulling your leg on the "prejudice" joke. -_-'
